Pease also indicate whether the abstract is eligible for consideration for the “Young Investigator Award” (YIA). Abstract without any indication would not be considered for YIA. Three major conditions to be fulfilled for Y.I.A. considerations are:
1. The principal author must be below 40 years old at end of 2012; and
2. The work must be done locally, with the principal author playing a major role in the study.
3. The paper must not have been previously published or accepted for publication in any form, including electronic publication, at the time of submission
The principal authors of the 6 best abstracts will be selected for the Young Investigators’ Award Final Presentation.
The closing date of abstract submission is on the 15th December 2012. Please note that late entries may not be considered nor printed in the abstract handbook.
